Responsibilities:
Job Tasks:
- Repair carpet manufacturing breakdown lines safely and efficiently
- Repair equipment during maintenance shut downs
- Assist with project installations
- Initiative to work without supervision
Minimum Qualifications:
- Provide own tools
- Have phone and valid drivers license
- Work at heights of 25 feet or greater
- Good attendance and safety records
- Lift 50 pounds
- Work extended hours and overtime when needed
- Conform to NFPA70E requirements
- Be on call for emergency situations
- Must have or be able to obtain hyster and other lift licenses
- Ability to read volt meters and amp meters
- Be able to read electrical schematics and use them for troubleshooting
- Knowledge of AC & DC motors
- Troubleshoot PLC & AC inverters
- Calculate electrical load & size breakers & starters
