Job Summary:
A Tufting Machine Operator is responsible for operating tufting equipment and be capable of producing quality carpet at maximum efficiency. This involves threading up the machine properly, visually monitoring and repairing with mending techniques, as well as maintaining an orderly work environment.
Requirements:
* Operators are expected to read production orders and complete paperwork
* Conform to safe work practices
* Be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds
* Climb stairs and work at heights up to 25 feet
* Must have excellent attendance record
* Adaptable to changing work priorities
* Receptive and responsive attitude to instruction
* Take the initiative to assist other employees
