Server Support Tech II
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* The individual will need to be a self starter, team player, excellent communicator, results focused, manage projects and support existing infrastructure requirements today
* Work with end-users through the use of strong trouble shooting skills
* Responsible for writing design documents, training documents, policy and procedure documents as it pertains to their role and projects
Qualifications: Education, Experience, Knowledge and/or Specialized Training
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
* Certification in MSCE
* 5-10 years of related and specific job experience
* Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 R2 or Server 2008
* Knowledge of Roaming Profiles, Group Policies, DHCP, WSUS, and DNS
* Strong understanding of networking and storage capabilities
* Experience with VMware and Backup/Recovery software a plus
* Project tracking and reporting, project management software, PC Microsoft products
* Knowledge of hardware configurations that include pc's, servers, and storage solutions
* Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations, and proofs of theorems
* Experience is security administration, server software and utilities, and Active directory
* Experience in application and user Documentation, Business Technology Integration, Business analysis, integration testing, project implementation, physical design, process modeling, and purchase software evaluation
