Job Summary:
This job involves repairing carpet manufacturing breakdown lines safely and efficiently. Equipment is repaired during maintenance shutdowns and assistance is given with project installations. Individuals are required to show initiative and work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
* Providing own tools
* Ability to work at heights of 25 ft. or greater
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.
* Ability to operate lift trucks and other motorized equipment
* Ability to read volt meters and amp meters and calculate electrical load and size breakers and starters
* Knowledge of AC and DC motors
* Ability to troubleshoot PLC and AC inverters
This individual is expected to maintain a good attendance record, have a phone and valid drivers license and work every other weekend and holidays, as required, and work extended hours and overtime, when needed.
