Education and Knowledge:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
* Describe the educational background discipline with an information technology focus. MBA preferred or an equivalent and knowledge that are required. combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, and In-depth technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing systems development in new and existing computing architectures and environments; emphasis on systems preferred
* Six Sigma certified a plus
Experience:
* Demonstrated growth in leading small teams to groups in excess of 15+ IT professionals
* Leadership of teams in using SDLC processes
* Demonstrated ability to work in global environment in a matrix organization
* Experience with leading small and medium projects using Project Management methodologies
* Package and custom application experience in an AS/400 and/or client/server environment
* 10+ years job specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement. Experience must include:
o 5 + years in a supervisory/managerial capacity leading diverse and cross functional work groups/teams, and
o 7+ years in business application design and systems development, including implementation and installation in AS/400 and/or client server environment
* 3+ years experience implementing or support SAP in an Information Technology organization, preferably FICO modules in ECC 6.0- broad-based information systems, technical management or business experience in a dynamic high-technology environment
* Proficient using PC, Intemet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Project 98, etc.
* Experience with financial systems, not limited to JD Edwards World (G/l, AlP, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Purchasing), Hyperion H(FM and Planning and Budgeting), cost accounting systems, Freight/logistics accounting, and GRC applications
* Knowledge of relational databases: SOL, Oracle, and/or DB2
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, Information Technology practices and methods
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the principles, techniques and methodology of project management, quality management, and change management
* Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
* Working knowledge of Company policies, and a basic understanding of Human Resources laws and regulations as it relates to employee relations and supervision.
* Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers, and senior management, and ability to communicate with others in antagonistic situations using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards
