Job Summary:
Creelers are the key to an effective production operation. Without them, our tufting production would halt. Our creelers work as teams, supplying yarn to the creels, which is continuously fed to tufting machines. To achieve a non-stop production, these teams of dedicated workers move from one creel to another removing empty cones from the creel rack, unpacking yarn, loading cones of yarn onto the creel, and splicing the ends together. As housekeeping is an effective prevention from slip and trip hazards, everyone pitches in to clean up the work area before moving on to the next creel.
